He Knows Me

Knows me so

Better than I know myself

As though he’s in my head

Lying in my body conscious

Sometimes a little scary in fact

The knowing, the understanding

My every crevasse and every crack

Answers the common questions I can’t

Leaving nothing to chance

Knows my depths, the darkness’s,

The lonely, the empty.

Knows to help me see the light,

The lovelies, the sense of the mess

Better than I can, can be me

Saves the savour and re-arranges

The remainder

Reminding me of needs that I fill plenty

That vulnerability bequets all of me

Never hovering this strength to

Unbalance my weaknesses

Knows me so much better

Than any one can, can me.
