My Lord

Where are you my Lord

I call for you every day and night

On my right there is sadness

To my left there is anguish, despair

I don’t feel you are there

I need you my Lord

To carry us through this harden place

No resolve, no hope, no way out

Day after day I summon

I pray, I wait, I pay, I slay

Gone are the fathers, the mothers

Children so long of loss

Families fractured beyond repair

But where are you

Answer me, answer them

Stop this madness

Restore the balance of this life

Bring love into souls

Of those who don’t believe

And they and them will listen if told

Now is the time

Here is the place

This moment in the body of mine

I hauler, I chant, I demand

Make peace in your Kingdom

I can’t, I shake my head in disbelief

Are you there

Are you the master of this home

Who is responsible for this mess

Who is the destroyer of lives

Am I to blame Chance

Or Evolution, or Time

Who owns this destruction

Perhaps it’s a punishment

A call for corrections

The Newly Noah’s Ark

A pendulum from impurity to perfect

I won’t wait

They need you now

RESTORE THE WORLD

On my knees

Head bowed in permission and solitude

My deepest respect

Such profound love for you

I love you my Lord

Please my Lord

Please my mighty Lord

Restore this wonderful world
