The roaring train of words
Blaring down the track in my mind
Loaded with thoughts that rhyme and bend
Never ending the whistle of lyrics
Rolling and clanking, I can’t sleep
Closing my eyes, I wait for the next station to arrive
All aboard for too many minutes of thoughts
STOP!!!
I want to get off and rest
Please no more wheel churing
Ease the cogs and steam
Put on the brakes and screech the steel
Come on, it’s truly enough I feel
Shut up train and go to sleep!
