We are dressed in fun, get out of your dark heavy winter clothes, spring wear. I, of course, have groovy printed pants on! Lucy noticed. Secretly, I’m carrying a bag into the restaurant which has 80’s styled wigs and sunglasses. Both Ellen and Lucy know what’s going to happen and what I need for my fundraising campaign. This is not their first rodeo with me.
We sit down in this lovely resto, admiring the décor and open-air kitchen. We order drinks and start celebrating Ellen’s birthday. CHEERS! Beautiful gifts are given and we are talking, smiling, eating, and loving this evening together.
