I Eat Dog Food

In tribute to my Great-Aunt Bella, who never ate a vegetable and lived to 92!

OK, ok maybe I exaggerated a little bit. What I mean to say is, sometimes what I eat looks like dog food.  I love to eat fresh salads, but I can’t eat any type of leaf. What’s crazy is the reaction I get when I ask for a salad without any lettuce leaves.  That’s right! I don’t like to eat leaves. Any kind of leaf in fact, may it be romaine, iceberg, arugula, boston… None of them! The main problem with eating leaves is that I have terrible, TERRIBLE difficulty digesting them. I’ve tried for years, but it just doesn’t work. It just doesn’t get through my digestive system without a problem.
